GM built a four-witness foundation in an airbag deployment case — Delphi project engineer, systems engineer, crash data retrieval developer, and a NHTSA EDR researcher — covering reliability, data path, and download tooling. The court admitted the SDM data under Frye. Bachman is the working template every EDR foundation has been built against since.
